RW-01 LNAPL Monitoring and Recovery Well documents a 30 ft installation at a former bulk fuel terminal in Kitchener, Ontario. The 2 in PVC well has a 10-25 ft screen, a 25-27 ft sump, a silica-sand filter pack, bentonite and grout seals, and a flush-mount completion.
The validation report records Warnings status, 89% completeness, Good quality, an 80% confidence score, one warning, and no errors.
The measured 1.7 ft apparent product thickness is the difference between the 10.6 ft water interface and the 8.9 ft product interface. It is a well measurement and should not be interpreted directly as formation-wide LNAPL saturation or recoverable product volume.
The baseline event identifies amber, weathered gasoline with strong petroleum odour and sheen. A disposable bailer recovered 6.4 L before a passive skimmer was installed. Footer records preserve the reference datum, interface method, equipment check, recovery total, product disposition, and confirmation that no DNAPL was detected in the sump.
WinLoG reports one environmental cross-check warning at 9.75 ft: VOC=0 is inconsistent with the recorded strong petroleum odour. The record has no validation errors, but the reviewer should verify whether VOC screening applies to this recovery event, confirm the instrument result and units, or document why the product observation is valid without a corresponding VOC value.
