A complete landfill-gas monitoring record combining cover materials, refuse and native soil, graphical multi-level probe construction, depth-matched samples, methane, carbon dioxide, oxygen, hydrogen sulfide, pressure, temperature, action status, calibration, integrity testing, and completion notes.
LFG-01 Multi-Level Landfill Gas Monitoring Well documents a 20 ft perimeter installation at North Valley Landfill in Cambridge, Ontario. Three stainless-steel gas intakes are centred at 6, 12, and 18 ft within isolated filter zones and connected to a protected surface completion.
The validation report records Passed status, 89% completeness, Good quality, an 81% confidence score, and no warnings or errors.
The 6, 12, and 18 ft sample depths coincide with the centres of the three probe-intake zones. Filter packs surround each intake, while grout and sealing intervals limit vertical gas communication and preserve the intended depth resolution.
The log places methane, carbon dioxide, oxygen, hydrogen sulfide, pressure, temperature, and site-response status beside each monitoring zone. Footer records document stabilization criteria, integrity testing, field-instrument calibration, action-level procedures, and secure completion after monitoring.
Download the files individually. The XML template and completed log can be imported into WinLoG Version 6 and customized for landfill-perimeter monitoring, gas-migration assessment, compliance programs, remediation systems, and repeated monitoring rounds.
Documents permanent gas-monitoring installations, zone-specific results, instrument checks, site-action status, secure completion, and recurring monitoring records.
Supports landfill-gas migration assessment, perimeter investigations, compliance reporting, remediation-system evaluation, and monitoring-program design.
Provides aligned review of probe and sample depths, construction zones, gas composition, pressure, calibration, stabilization, integrity testing, and response status.
WinLoG templates can be adapted for company standards and site-specific monitoring programs. Headers, construction columns, gas zones, sample identifiers, composition measurements, pressure, temperature, action status, calibration, integrity testing, and validation rules can all be customized.
