This example shows how WinLoG applies automated QA/QC to an environmental subsurface investigation. How the Example Demonstrates Environmental QA/QC

The example contains deliberate environmental data-quality conditions rather than only idealized data. These include a missing sample ID, a duplicate sample ID, three laboratory criterion exceedances, and two elevated PID/VOC readings associated with impacted material.

The validation report contains 2 errors and 5 warnings. Negative phrases such as no visible staining and no free product observed are treated as negative observations instead of being misidentified as positive evidence of contamination.
