First create a new cross-section using the New button
on the Cross-Section toolbar.
A Location Map form will be displayed, showing the locations of the
boreholes in the project. Next click the Edit Borehole Locations button
on the map toolbar.
This will display the Well Data Form. Then you can
edit the locations (x, y, and Depth) and see the boreholes that are
present in the project. Click OK to save the changes.
Open the location map as described above. Then
click the “Pencil Tool” to add a new section. To add boreholes to a
section click on or very near the borehole. This will add the borehole
to the new cross section. In this example I want to add a cross section
from left to right containing:
BH102
BH101
BH103
BH105
BH106
To do this is:
Click on BH102
Click on BH101
Click on BH103
Click on BH105
Click on BH106
Then double click to end the section and click ”OK”.
As you can see in the picture to the left, I selected the 5 Boreholes,
then clicked OK. The screen below will open up. I entered “Test1” here.
Then select a template from the Template list
which should be similar to the list on the left. I selected “Bottom
Bar”.
At the “Would you like to automatically adjust the scales for this
cross-section?” I selected “yes”.
When you click “OK” you should see a cross section like the one below.
Now you are ready to add layers to your cross section.
For more information on adding layers please refer to your User Manual.
