Design and analysis of retaining walls (Cantilever and
Gravity). Calculates the stability, bearing capacity, settlement, rotation
and structural integrity including reinforcement.
Features
- Analyze a wide variety of retaining walls
(cantilever or gravity) according to either Rankine’s or
Coulomb’s methods, with an override option to specify the desired
coefficient's.
- Calculates the foundation soil bearing capacity
dynamically as a function of the wall’s shape
and applied loads, and takes into account variable soil layers and the
presence of water.
- Accepts different soil parameters for the backfill,
foundation, & front soils, and provides an
estimate of the Modulus of Subgrade Reaction (Ks).
- Calculates safety factors for the Bearing capacity,
Overturning, and Sliding and compares to a
recommended set of safety factors.
- Accounts for seismic loading in accordance to
Eurocode.
- Estimates the elastic settlement of the wall, and the
rotation of the base based on either a Rigid
or a Flexible Plate model.
- Checks the wall’s structural integrity and determines
the requirement for reinforcement in accordance
with the ACI code.
- Print the screen to have a concise report of the
analyzed problem, or print a formatted output
with full details.
- The on-line help provides all the needed.
