ESDAT

Linking to External Applications


Data can be viewed, filtered and manipulated in ESDAT and, at the click of a button, the results automatically sent to the packages listed below:

ArcView ArcView (versions 3, 8, 9)
Data can be converted to a shapefile, or viewed as a direct database connection, and reported in ArcView. Labels showing locations or chemical concentrations / other results can be produced automatically.

 

 

MapInfo MapInfo
Data is reported to MapInfo as a table. Data can then be plotted, labelled etc.

 

 

Surfer Surfer
Data can be plotted, gridded and contoured into new or existing Surfer Documents.

 

 

 

WinLog WinLoG
Existing WinLoG projects can be linked through ESDAT so that downhole information can be viewed or processed through ESDAT

 

 

 

Chart Excel Graphs
Data can be automatically graphed in Excel. Templates can be set up in an organization specific format, and graphs can be automatically updateable to reflect changes in the underlying database.

 
 

ESDAT Excel Excel Tables
Data can be automatically exported to Excel.  A link to the data can be maintained so that as more data is imported to the database the excel data, and formulas based on this data, are updated.

 


Environmental Database
SQL Server or Access
SQL Server or Access databases can be viewed and modified (security permission allowing). Queries or data tables can be modified or created for processing or exporting through ESDAT.
