ESDAT
Linking to External Applications
Data can
be viewed, filtered and manipulated in ESDAT and, at the
click of a button, the results automatically sent to the
packages listed below:
ArcView (versions 3, 8, 9)
Data can be
converted to a shapefile, or viewed as a direct database
connection, and reported in ArcView. Labels showing
locations or chemical concentrations / other results can
be produced automatically.
MapInfo
Data is reported to MapInfo as a table. Data can then be
plotted, labelled etc.
Surfer
Data can be plotted, gridded and contoured into new or
existing Surfer Documents.
WinLoG
Existing
WinLoG projects can be linked through ESDAT so that
downhole information can be viewed or processed through
ESDAT
Excel Graphs
Data can be
automatically graphed in Excel. Templates can be set up
in an organization specific format, and graphs can be
automatically updateable to reflect changes in the
underlying database.
Excel Tables
Data can be
automatically exported to Excel. A link to the data can
be maintained so that as more data is imported to the
database the excel data, and formulas based on this
data, are updated.
SQL Server or
Access
SQL Server
or Access databases can be viewed and modified (security
permission allowing). Queries or data tables can be
modified or created for processing or exporting through
ESDAT.
